Welcome to Full Circle. We offer a range of sustainable building and site design services for home owners, builders and designers. Our areas of specialization are Sustainable/Energy Efficient Building Design, Passive Solar Heating, and Permaculture Design. We can work with our clients to provide focused services such as Energy Modeling or retrofit details, or provide a complete design-build package including Construction Drawings and Project Management. Full Circle also has experience in working with Owner-Builders whose goals include hands-on learning about the sustainable building process.        The best time to incorporate any of our services into your project is early in the design phase. How early? Before you have a set of plans drawn up. Ideally, we would work with you from the start to define project goals, which would then guide the rest of the design process. The initial decisions made about building (such as location, orientation, size and shape ) are the most important ones when it comes to sustainable building. Sure, you can add solar panels or low-VOC paint to any house, but a house facing in the wrong direction will never receive the full potential energy benefit offered by the sun, and a home built in a frost-pocket will always be more costly to heat and more challenging for gardening.
